Tour 1 - Kabul and Panjshir Valley
Day 1 Kabul arrival
Depends on the time of Arrival. If in the morning, we will brief and have time to have an afternoon tour of the city. This will include a look around the old city, the remains of Darulaman Palace and a visit to the Kabul museum.
Day 2 Kabul
Second day in Kabul. You will be able to visit the sobering OMAR landmine museum, Shah-e Do Shamshira mosque (the king with two swords), Babur's gardens – the final resting place of the first Mughal emperor, the hills of Bibi Mahru and a view of overall Kabul city.
Day 3 Kabul-Panjshir
Third day would be a day to visit the Panjshir valley, described as the most beautiful place in Afghanistan by locals. You will be able to stop to view the tomb of Ahmed Shah Massoud, the lion of the Panjshir and Afghanistan’s most universally revered Mujahedin commanders as well as stopping off at a local fish restaurant on the banks of the Panjshir river.
Day 4 Kabul
During the fourth day you will be able to visit Istalif the place where all pottery products of Afghanistan is produced and in the aftermath you will have a chance to visit Western Cemetery- the place where all British soldiers who were killed during Anglo-Afghan wars along with Amercian, Russian, French and etc are buried.
Day 5 Kabul and back home
The day fifth is the last day to stay in Kabul. Depends on how much time do we have. If the flight is in the afternoon, then we will have the chance to visit Bazar-e-Kah Froshi (Hay market) – different birds from different parts of Afghanistan and all over the world is exhibited in the most original old buildings of Kabul city. At last we will be heading to the Airport to fly back home.
Tour 2 - Kabul - Mazar-e Sharif - Balkh - Aqsha - Panjshir - Bamyan
Day 1 Kabul
Arrival and briefing. We will have time to have an afternoon tour of the city. This will include a look around the old city, the remains of Darulaman Palace.
Day 2 Kabul –Mazar e Sharif
The journey to Mazar e Sharif will pass through the Salang pass. A series of tunnels built by the Russians make this an exciting way to cross the Hindu Kush. Before a quick trip to the majestic blue tiled tomb of Hazrat Ali, Afghanistan’s most important religious site.
Day 3 Mazar -Balkh – Aqcha (Turkmen Bazar) and Buzkashi (during cold season)
You will spend one day in and around Mazar e Sharif. Taking time to visit the ancient silk road city of Balkh, called Bactria to the Greeks. Bactria was the birthplace of Zoroaster, the founder of Zoroastrianism as well as Rumi the legendary Persian poet. Legacy of its Islamic and Buddhist past can be found in the stupas and mosques in and around the city, Turkmen Bazar with their product on a Bazar day and the crazy
sport of Buzkashi (the horse game) in the afternoon.
Day 4 Mazar-Charkent (Hazara villages)
Very early in the morning we will began to go to Charkent the villages where were home to all Hazara people when Taliban attacked Mazar-e-Sharif. We will have a whole day exploring the almost highest peaks of the north of Afghanistan with a Soviet Union jeep. The views, the sunset and the villages will be looking from the very top is great. We will have a chance for tracking and travelling from village to village peacefully.
Day 5 Mazar-e-Sharif – Samangan - Kabul
Once on the north side we will make a stop at the remains of the Buddhist Samangan Monastery and then we continue your journey back to Kabul.
Day 6 Kabul – Panjshir
We will take a day to visit the Panjshir valley, described as the most beautiful place in Afghanistan by locals. We will stop to view the tomb of Ahmed Shah Massoud, the lion of the Panjshir and Afghanistan’s most universally revered Mujahedin commanders as well as stopping off at a local fish restaurant on the banks of the Panjshir river.
Day 7 Kabul-Bamyan
Fly between Kabul and Bamian, the capital of the Hazarajat - home of the Hazaras and one of the most peaceful places in Afghanistan. When you arrive in Bamian you will have time for a look at the hill sides riddled with caves in which monasteries and Buddhist carvings were once situated.
Days 8-9 Bamyan and around
We will spend 3 days in and around Bamian, an area of striking natural beauty. The mountains and valleys are dotted with ruins from Afghanistan’s past and friendly Hazara villages. It is one of the few places in Afghanistan where we can walk freely and safely in a rural environment.
The Lapis Lazuli blue waters of Band-e-Amir are often the highlight of any trip to Afghanistan. Legend has it that the dams that separate the 5 lakes were made by Ali, the prophet Mohamed’s cousin and son in law. However geologists insist they are natural dams made from mineral deposits. The lakes contrast to the stark landscape surrounding them only adds to the beauty of this area.
We will also visit the natural landscape of Dragon valley, see the ruins of Shah e Zohak (Red Fort) and the remains of Shah e Golghola (The city of Screams).
Day 10 Bamyan - Kabul
In the aftermath you will have a chance to visit Western Cemetery- the place where all British soldiers who were killed during Anglo-Afghan wars along with Amercian, Russian, French and etc are buried.
Day 11 Kabul
A full day in and around Kabul to visit the city Museum, Shah-e Doh Shamshira mosque, Babur's gardens – the final resting place of the first Mughal emperor and the hills of Bibi Mahru.
Day 12 Kabul and back home

Day 10 Kabul-Herat
Fly from Kabul to Herat. The flight is early in the morning leaving you time to explore this ancient city. Herat has the largest collection of ancient buildings in Afghanistan and we will take a full day to explore the city and its surroundings including Qala-e-Ekhtiyaruddin (Originally constructed by Alexander the Great) and time for shopping.
Day 11 Herat and around
Day two would be a full day to explore Friday Mosque, the tomb of Gowar Shad, the Masullah complex and the atmospheric shrine of Khoja Ansari at Gazar Gah and Puli Malan (Nice girls' bridge).
Day 12 Herat-Kabul
The flight is early in the morning leaving you time to explore the most ancient village of Istalif. Istalif is the place where all pottery products of Afghanistan is produced and once in the early days it was the place where British Soldiers had fun in the parks during the off days and bought souvenirs for their families.
Day 13 Kabul and back home
The day fifth is the last day to stay in Kabul. Depends on how much time do we have. If the flight is in the afternoon, then we will have the chance to visit Bazar-e-Kah Froshi (Hay market) – different birds from different parts of Afghanistan and all over the world is exhibited in the most original old buildings of Kabul city.
